Founded in 1957 by Grand Master Remy A. Presas, Modern Arnis combines the finest elements of the Filipino Martial Arts: empty hand mano-mano techniques, classical escrima fencing, and ancient kris and Kali warrior arts, with an innovative approach of dynamic and progressive teaching into a brilliantly conceived, applicable, and effective martial art.
